The Power and Glory of God's Creation.

Bibical and Historical Evidence of the Beast.

Some of the things that may be read here by some, have been written by us in the past, but here will be presented with a more in-depth and detailed presentation into the bibical and historical events past and current concerning this prophecy of the coming beast. Which we have maintained that this coming beast was to be none other than the United States and the Apostate church called the Whore and False Prophet in Revelation. The beast of the sea and of the earth in chapter 13 of Revelation. The beast of the sea being the political entity, the U.S., and the beast of the earth being the apostate religious entity within this political beast. The Whore who is a part of this beast, she who sits upon and is carried by the beast (see Rev. 17-3,7).
The Cherubim.

The first mention of "cherubim" that we see in Ezekiel and Revelation is first seen in Gen. 3-24. "So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." This verse gives us no description of the cherubim, except that the Lord placed "cherubim" at the east of the garden of Eden. The word "cherubim" is plural, so we know it to mean "more than one" of what they are to represent. We see the Lord also placed there a "flaming sword", which bibically can represent this "sword" as being his Word. The "flaming" of this sword can bibically represent his judgement (fire), which turns every which way. To all 4 directions of the earth to keep the way of the tree of life. The tree of life which brings salvation and eternal life. It bibically represents here the Lord's curse given to mankind and Satan in Gen. 3-14-19, until all his prophetic word of scripture is fulfilled.
When going to and reading Isa. 6-1-7, we meet up with what Isaiah calls "seraphim," not "cherubim", though verses 2 and 3 are similar in some of its wording that parallel with Rev. 4-8. They had six wings and worshipped the Lord using similar lanquage. Except for this similarity, there is nothing that indicates that these "seraphim" are the "cherubim" seen in Ezekiel and the 4 living creatures (translated beasts there) seen in Revelation chapter four. Nor can it be said that the "seraphim" Isaiah saw are the "cherubim" in Gen. 3-24, but certainly the similarities are seen. So here, we'll leave it to the reader to decide.
We next meet up with 4 living creatures called "cherubim" in Ezek. 1-5-28 and 10-1-22. In these passages we learn that what he saw in 1-5-28, the 4 living creatures, and what he saw in 10-1-22 were one and the same. We are told this in Ezek. 10-20, "This (is) the living creature (singular-its makeup as a whole) that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they (were) the Cherubim." So we can know from the description given us in Ezekiel that these cherubim or living creatures are the ones we see in Rev. 4-6-8, with some differences.
Looking to these differences of the cherubim, we first go to Ezek. 1-6; "everyone all four had four wings." In Rev. 4-8, everyone all four had six wings. In Ezek. 1-7, "---the sole of their feet---like the sole of a calf's foot." A "calf" is a young Ox, thus it had the sole of a calf's foot, indicating its age and size. This "calf" is seen as an Ox in Ezek. 1-10 in speaking of their makeup. Reading Ezek. 1-10, "The four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion on the right side; and the four had the face of an "ox" on the left side; the four also had the face of an eagle." So we see that all four had the face of a man, the face of a lion, the face of an ox, and the face of an eagle. This is the same description given us in Rev. 4-7 concerning these four living creatures seen as being a part of the fulfillment of the Lord's end time prophecy.
Going to Ezek. 10-12 we read, "And their whole body (singular-as one), and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and their wheels (were) full of eyes (peoples) round about---." This description of having eyes all over their body (bodies) is seen in Rev. 4-8; "And the four living creatures had each of them six wings about (him or them); and (they were) full of eyes (representing peoples) within---." The description here is the same except for the amount of wings. In Ezekiel they had 4 wings, and "wings" represent "extensions", they extend out. This is a representation of how far their "wings" of these kingdoms had spread throughout the world. Where in Rev. 4-8 they had 6 wings showing they now had extended out to those areas of the earth, which we call "continents."
Going to the description of their faces in Ezek. 10-14 we read; "---the first face (was) the face of a cherub---," Here we see one of these 4 creatures had the face of a "cherub", where in Ezek. 1-10 one of the creatures had the face of an "Ox." Here it is the face of a cherub rather than the face of an Ox. The ox-like "calf" description is seen in Rev. 4-7; "---the second living creature was like a calf (a young ox)---." Returning to Ezek. 10-14, "---and the second face (was) the face of a man---." In Rev. 4-7 it is "---the third living creature had a face of a man---." In Ezek. 10-14, "---and the third the face of a lion---." Where in 4-7 it reads, "And the first living creature (was) like a lion,---." Ezek. 10-14 reads, "---and the fourth the face of an eagle." In Rev. 4-7 we read, "---and the fourth living creature (was) like a flying eagle." Here it is "like a flying eagle" indicating its wings were spread as in "ready to take flight." In Ezek. 1-5-28 and 10-1-22 we are given a detailed description of these 4 living creatures called cherubim. Whereas in Rev. 4-6-8 we are given a more general description of these beings, but enough bibical information to see that these in Revelation are the same see in Ezekiel.
Before continuing, the word "beast" seen in Rev. 4-6 is not the same as in chapter 13 and 17. Here in Rev. 4-6 it is the Greek word "zoon"-singular, and is to mean "any living being or creature," whether man or animal. In the plural the Greek word is "zoe." But in chapters 13 and 17, it is the Greek word "therion" and is to mean "an untamed or wild beast", whether man or animal. So the beast sen in chapters 13 and 17 speak of it as being a wild beast. And since it is a kingdom being spoken of here, it is to mean a wild and rebellious beast kingdom. So the beast of the sea and the beast of the earth, by the use of the word "therion" is to mean a wild and rebellious kingdom (s). And the context given in those chapters clearly show that. Yet in chapter 4, they are seen as having an opposite nature, thus are seen by the word used (zoon-zoe) as living beings or creatures rather than a wild beast at that point in time of the prophecy.
Now going to Ezek. 1-12 we read; "And they (the 4 creatures) went every one straight forward; wither the spirit was (wanted) to go, they (the creatures) went also; (and) they turned not when they went." Now concerning the "wheels" seen and mentioned in the vision, we read in Ezek. 1-19-20; "And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by (beside) them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. Withersoever the spirit was (wanted) to go, they went, thither (was their) spirit to go (also); and the wheels were lifted up over against (beside) them; for the spirit of the living creature (singular-all as one was) in the wheels." This tells us that the "wheels" represented the "spirit" which had divine control as to where the living creatures were to be sent or go throughout the earth.
Going to Ezek. 10=9 we read; "---one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub;---." We see that each cherub or living creature had two wheels. We can see this in Ezek. 1-23, first, by giving the description of their wings. "--their wings straight (spread out), the one toward the other; every one had two (which touched each other like the wheels), which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side (opposite side of) their bodies." This is also seen in Ezek. 10-10, "---they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst (middle) of a wheel (of another wheel)." In the same way the cherub's wings touched each other, so it is with the wheels. Why he described it that way, "a wheel within a wheel." They touched each other, so the wheels are described as being "like one," yet there are two that Ezekiel saw. The two wheels were of "one spirit", one spirit to carry each creature, four representing the four spirits that carry the 4 living creatures throughout the earth.
Now concerning the "spirit" that was in the "wheels" that carried the 4 living creatures forth throughout the world, our answer is found in Zech. 6-1-8 where we read of the 4 chariots. We read in Zech. 6-5, "And the angel answered and said unto me, these (4 chariots are) the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth (see Rev. 4-5 and 5-6) from standing (from standing at their station) before the Lord of all the earth." So we see here these 4 chariots that now also hold horses are called "the four spirits" which go forth into the world at the Lord's command to fulfill the prophecies of his word. Now as we know, chariots are made up of "2 wheels" and they are harnessed to horses. What Zechariah is shown "in this form" of his vision is what Ezekiel saw earlier in 1-5-28 and 10-1-22 in that "form vision" given him. The living creatures and the wheels that represented the "spirit", which represented the "4 spirits." Ezekiel saw and gave us a description of the "spirit wheels" that divinely sent forth the 4 living creatures, whereas Zechariah seen the spirit wheels as "chariots containing horses." For they would be needed and become a part of the prophecy's fulfillment seen in the book of Revelation. We see in Ezek. 10-18 is where the glory of the Lord "departed from the 4 living creatures and the Jewish temple."
It has been noted in our writings that the 4 living creatures seen in Ezek. 1-5-28; 10-1-22 and mentioned in 8-3-4, and what was given Daniel in 7-1-28 represented in various forms the living creature (s) seen in Ezek. 1-20,21,22;10-15,17,20 that is seen in Rev. 4-6-8. Where then "in its final form" at the prophecy's fulfillment, it would become the beast of the sea and the beast of the earth seen in chapter 13 of Revelation. It is seen in Dan. 7-1-28 that the four winds called spirits of heaven also represent the four corners of heaven and earth. These were pushing upon the great sea, which here represents "a great sea of people" in all 4 corners of the world. In reading Daniel, we see in time they would represent and become the final kingdoms to have dominion over the earth. And at its fulfillment all dominion would be given over to the Lord. This is seen beginning in Dan. 7-2-3; "And four great beasts (kingdoms) came up from the sea (great sea of peoples), different from one another."

Scripture and its bibical history tell us that Ezekiel and Daniel were captives in Babylon when they were given these visions of God, where much of the visions relate to the end times. Bibical history tells us that Ezekiel was taken captive in 597 B.C. to Babylon. His calling and ministry began in 593 B.C., and ended about 571 B.C. Daniel was taken captive to Babylon in 605 B.C. The book of Daniel was written at various periods in his lifetime, between the time he was captured in 605 B.C. up to the third year of Cyrus in 536 B.C. The later chapters in Daniel began in 539 B.C., and known to us because they are well documented.
The vision of the 4 living creatures given to Ezekiel and the beast visions given to Daniel that relate to end time prophecy, would be expanded in their meanings in the visions given to the prophet Zechariah. It is not certain, but it is estimated that Zechariah began his ministry sometime between 520 and 508 B.C. The theme of Zechariah is the glory of the Lord, and the motivation of completing the task of rebuilding the temple; and God's ultimate program of displaying his glory through the house of Israel, where in its fulfillment all would be considered "the house of Israel;" Jew and Gentile alike. Where then, at the prophecy's complete fulfillment, the Lord God would dwell within the midst of them forever.
In Revelation, it has been noted that these 4 beasts or living creatures would go forth to fulfill the prophecy. It is these 4 living creatures that went forth upon the 4 horses given them in Revelation; and they would represent the beast in its "final form" at the prophecy's fulfillment seen in chapter 13 of Revelation. This beast would represent in its final form all 7 kingdoms, the beast kingdom and the 6 prior kingdoms. The final four kingdoms would come after Babylon's reign. The prophecy concerning these kingdoms were given to Daniel; Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome and the final beast kingdom of Revelation.
The four horses seen in Revelation chapter 6 are described there. The first is seen as being a white horse, with the color symbolizing conquest. This white horse (s), are seen in Zech. 1-8 and 6-3. The second horse that John saw was not only red but fiery red. The color red symbolizing violence and war, but with great "fiery power" was it given. The red horse (s) are seen in Zech. 1-8 and 6-2. The third horse was black. The color symbolizes plagues, pestilences, etc. that cause death. This black horse (s) are seen in Zech. 6-2,6. The fourth horse was pale in color. This color also symbolizes plagues, pestilences and judgements of death as does the third or black horse. This pale horse (s) are seen in Zech. 6-3.
So we see that these 4 horses seen in Revelation chapter 6, are also seen in Zechariah chapters 1 and 6. And what Zechariah saw, would in its final fulfillment of the prophecy be what is seen in chapter 6 of Revelation in its final form. That being the beast kingdom seen in chapter 13 of Revelation. The same living creature that Ezekiel saw and the beast that Daniel saw with the ten horns in chapter 8, the horns there symbolizing "kings." At the time the visions were given to Ezekiel and Daniel, the final four kingdoms had yet to come, for they were not as yet. Since we know that at the time these visions were given to Ezekiel and daniel, Babylon was dominent and reigning; therefore Babylon cannot be included as being one of these coming kingdoms. As noted, they would be 1. Medo-Persia; 2. Greece; 3. Rome; 4. the beast in its final form seen in Revelation chapter 13. The beast called "Mystery-Babylon the Great, noted by us as being the beast of the sea and the earth; the United States and the apostate church who sits upon the beast."*(see notes below).
In Zech. 6-1, Zechariah sees 4 chariots, called spirits, come out from between two mountains. In verses 2 and 3, he sees what these 4 chariots held. We note here that the horses were not seen as being "harnessed to" the chariots, but were "in" and a part of these 4 chariots seen in his vision. Its meaning given here is that these 4 chariots called spirits, were the means in helping to "transport" these horses to their destination; and this is seen in these verses. It must also be remembered that these "4 chariot spirits" also held the "4 living creatures." For the "spirit" was in the "wheels" which the creatures were a part of also, "and wheresoever the spirit went, the creatures also went." We read here in Zechariah, "In" (within) the first chariot (were) red horses; and "in" ( within) the second chariot black horses. And "in" ( within) the third chariot white horses; and "in" ( within) the fourth chariot grizzled (dappled) and bay horses". Zechariah then asks, what are these? "These (are or represent) the four spirits (here represents the 4 spirits, living creatures, wheels, chariots, horses) of the heavens, which go forth from standing (go forth from standing from their station) before the Lord of all the earth."
Where did we last see these four spirits which represent the 4 living creatures standing at their station before the Lord of the earth, that would then go forth from before him? It was in Ezek. 10-18-19 where they stood at their station at the door of the east gate of the Lord's house. "And the glory of the Lord was high above them," for here he had departed from them. Where then we read in Ezek. 11-22, "Then did the cherubim ( the 4 living creatures) lift up their wings ( leaving their station where they stood when the Lord departed from them), and the wheels beside them (the spirit the creatures had to follow, "withersoever the spirit went"); and the glory of the God of Israel (was) over them above (had departed from them).---and (the glory of God) stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city." ( The Mount of Olives).

The spirits, the living creature, consisting of 4, and the 4 chariots called spirits transporting the horses that Zechariah saw in his vision, are all one and the same. The difference being they were given and seen by each prophet in different forms and ways. In order that their meanings or descriptions given would reveal to us their ultimate meaning of what they were and represented. Ezek. 10-20, "This (is) the living creature (representing the final kingdom to come seen in Rev. 4-6-8) that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar, and I knew that they (were) the cherubim. (And) they went every one straight forward" (to the fulfillment of the Lord's word). Ezek. 11-22-23, "Then did the cherubim lift up their wings and the wheels (also) beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel (was) over them above"(had departed from them). And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which (is) on the east side of the city."
Ezekiel later sees the glory of the Lord returning from where he had seen him depart in Ezek. 11-22-23-from the temple. He sees him returning in Ezek. 43-1-5 to the house that Ezekiel had been brought to in his vision given us in chapters 40-48, that which concerned the end times. There Ezekiel was brought to the gate that faced east. The very direction where he had seen the Lord depart in Ezek. 11-22-23. Here he sees him returning from that same direction (Ezek. 43-25). "And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east;---. And (it was) according to the appearance of the vision which I saw when I (he) came to destroy the city; and the visions (were) like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar (1-4-28;3-23;10-1-22); and I fell upon my face. And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect (faces) toward the east. So the spirit took (lifted) me up, and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house."
In Ezek. 43-6-8, the Lord tells Ezekiel that "the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile,---.(v.8)---by their abominations that they have committed; wherefore (the reason why) I have consumed them in mine anger." In that end time of the prophecy's fulfillment of Ezekiel chapters 40-48, he sends out a blessing. "Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever." For it would be at that time when these prophecies would come to pass that the Lord says; "Behold, I come quickly; blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book." (Rev. 22-7).
We see that each prophet that saw a vision of the 4 living creatures, were given and seen by them in different forms and ways. These visions that Ezekiel, Daniel and Zechariah saw, was what John would see "in their completed form" in chapter 13 of Revelation. In chapter 4, John sees these 4 living creatures very similar to how Ezekiel saw it, where they "stood before the throne" in Ezek. 1-25 and 10-19. In chapter 4 of Revelation, they stand before the throne of God awaiting the command, at the prophecy's fulfillment, to mount their horses, as they would command the horse to "Go!" seen in those verses. The horses that were transported by the spirit chariots seen in Zechariah. When the Lamb would open the seals to fulfill the end time prophecy, this would represent the Lord's command for the living creatures to go forth.
Zech. 2-8-13 speaks of the fulfillment of Christ's first and second coming, once the prophecies are fulfilled. We are told in Zech. 3-8-10 that Joshua and his associates are men to come, and the Lord would bring the Branch, the stone, which represents Christ at his first coming. These associates the Lord would bring to build the temple or house of the Lord.
Zech. 4-6-10 speaks of what the Lord would have Zerrubbabel fulfill in his service to the Lord. Verses 11-14 is what the two olive trees and two lampstands seen in chapter 11 of Revelation would be called to service for. They would be called to fulfill what they are seen as representing there. Zechariah asked, "What are these two olive branches (trees-v.11) beside the two gold pipes that pour out golden oil? He said, these are the two onointed ones (lit. sons of fresh oil), that stand by the Lord of the whole earth." Lev. 24-2-4 tell us what the oil represents that the two onointed ones bring. "Command the children of Israel that they bring unto thee pure olive oil beaten for the light to cause the lamps to burn continually" (daily). And these onointed ones are they that are seen in Rev. 11-4 when that prophecy would come to fulfillment. All the prophecies given the prophets in the Old and New Testament would come to their fulfillment when the prophecy of Revelation would come to pass. This in turn would bring to an end at the prophecy's fulfillment, the end of the final age.
Now before returning to the living creatures in Rev. 4-6-8, we need to realize that this prophecy when given to John, Rome was the dominant kingdom at that time. The prior beast kingdoms had come and gone. So before we go to the description of the 4 living creatures in Rev. 4-6-8, the beast to come; we first need to go to Rev. 17-9-10. "The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth." And we are told in verse 10, they are seven kings. Therefore the seven kings also represent the seven heads and mountains. Mountains in scripture is a term also used for "kingdoms." And we see this to be the meaning in verse 10. "---five are (have) fallen, and one is, (and) the other is not yet come;---." Now since we know that these verses speak of "kingdoms," and we are told that five have fallen, one is, that one that "is" would be Rome at the time this prophecy was given to John. Scripture only speaks of kingdoms that at one time or another dominated over Israel. Therefore these spoken of here would be; 1. Egypt, 2. Assyria, 3. Babylon, 4. Medo-Persia, 5. Greece, 6. Rome, who dominated at the time the prophecy was given. The 7th, the beast that John saw was yet to come. And these seven mountain kingdoms would be that on which the woman-called the whore-the great city called Babylon-sitteth.
Going to verse 11 we read, "And the beast (the 8th) that was, and is not, even he is the eighth (kingdom-king), and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition" (destruction). Now who is this "beast" that was and is not, and yet is of the seven kingdoms, called here the "eighth" kingdom or king? Our answer is found in Gen. 3-1, "Now the serpent was more subtile than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made." The indication here is that the serpent, Satan, is considered also a "beast" of the field which the Lord God had made. For there is "nothing" that the Lord God had not made. Satan not only has a kingdom as scripture tells us, but all earthly kingdoms have been given him since the fall of man (Matt. 4-8-9;12-26; Luke 4-5-6;11-18). This 8th king Satan, is seen in Rev. 9-11; "And they had a king over them, (which is) the angel (Satan) of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue (is) Abaddon (lit. destruction), but in the Greek tongue hath (his) name Apollyon" (lit. destroyer). Certainly no "human" king could be of the seven kingdoms down through the ages and still exist as an 8th king in these 7 kingdoms when that 7th kingdom would come to exist. Only Satan could as scripture confirms. Now he cannot be called an 8th king unless he had a kingdom in which to rule, and these verses speak of only seven kingdoms. With the seventh kingdom said as being the last to come. So where do we find this 8th king in which he would sit and rule? It could only be found in the 7th kingdom, and final kingdom that was prophecied to come. That kingdom that he would sit and rule in is seen in Rev. 13-11-18, the beast kingdom of the earth. Though Satan also rules in the beast kingdom of the sea (Rev. 13-1-10) which he gave all authority to. The beast kingdom of the earth is religious in its nature and makeup, and Revelation calls her the whore, the great city Babylon.
Now we look to the description of this final 7th kingdom to see who that kingdom to come in its final form seen in Revelation chapter 13 would be. We read in Rev. 4-7, "And the first living creature (was) like a lion,---." We shall see that the description being given here is when this kingdom was in its early birth as a young nation in its making and growth. This description "like a lion" represents its qualities and nature at that time. It was Christ-like, Christian, it had the qualities like "the lion of the tribe of Judah" (Rev. 5-5). "---and the second living creature like a calf,---." As we know in its maturity it is called an ox-beast. But here we see this creature as being "like a calf"-young in age and growth. Representing here its body, this kingdom had yet to reach its full growth; it was young and began small. The beginnings of the U.S. nation had only 13 colonies when they declared their independence as a nation. "---and the third living creature had a face of a man,---." Here this represents mankind-one though many, banded together as one in declaring their independence in 1776. "---and the fourth living creature (was) like a flying eagle." Our U.S. history shows that our ensign, standard, stamp-mark for this nation is called the Great Seal of the United States. It is seen on our currency and in many governmental institutions. The front of the seal shows an American bald eagle with "its wings spread out" as if in flight. With a ribbon in its mouth bearing the words "E pluribus unum," to mean "one of many", though many "we are one."(united). This depicts the description given above of the 3rd living creature; one in nation, one in being, one in mind. In its talons are the arrows of war and an olive branch of peace. On the reverse side it shows an unfinished pyramid with an eye, which represents "the eye of providence" above it. Under the pyramid the words "novus ordo seclorum." This in essence is to mean "a new world/age order."
We read in Rev. 4-8, "And the four living creatures (zoe) had each of them six wings about; and (the wings were) full of eyes within;---." The "wings" the six, represent their "extensions" gone forth throughout the earth, from which they came to become "one", and from which their power would later extend to, as the context of chapter 13 reveals. That being the 6 continents of the world; "full of eyes within, peoples"--"and they rest (cease) not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come." This is the description of the living creature, the 7th kingdom in its birth and infancy as a nation, worshipping the Lord. But in its full growth it would become the beast (therion) in its final form seen in chapter 13. The beast (therion) of the sea, and the beast (therion) of the earth.

History tells us that America was the first nation in the history of the planet that had freedom of religion. Religious terrany prevailed all over the world. Only with the founding of America was full religious freedom granted for the very first time. Historians state that the Christian make-up of our country was there and began in its earliest days. Even as late as 1775, 150 years after the Pilgrims landed, the make-up of America was 98.4 percent Protestant, 1.4 Catholic, and .02 Jewish. Until the middle of the 19th century (the 1850's), most of the education in this country was explicitely Christian, and the Bible was the chief textbook in one way or another.
Also history shows that the word "American" is a name the early English colonists gave to the Indians to distinquish them as being from this country in which they lived. And the colonists called this country "America," the English called themselves "the white man, the colonists"; to distinquish the fact that they were not the original inhabitants of this land. But from another land, and were here to colonize the new land.
As was noted in our writings on "page 9-10" on this web site, in the Declaration of Independence, the words "of America" are given there to make clear why and "where" the Declaration was adopted. To free the people of these colonized states in "this country" they colonized, from Great Britain's oppression of this "colonized land" which they came to call "America." As noted in our writings, this is seen in the origin of the Constitution of the United States, and in the Bill of Rights. (please refer to pages 9-10 of this site for more details concerning  the mark ,name ,and number of the beast and other details given there.).
We go to and read Rev. 6-1. "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard,---one of the four living creatures saying, (in most translations it is) Come and see." The Greek word given here is "erchomai," which can mean either to come or go. But here it must be taken to mean "go" and not "come and see." For in the vision he was already there, and he saw the Lamb opening the seal, then he "heard" like thunder, loudly the living creature saying Go! (erchomai),-not "come and see." In verse 2 John tells us what he saw after he "heard" the creature proclaiming "erchomai"--"he went forth--." He went "forth" means to "go" to "leave." So the meaning here in Rev. 6-1 is; "I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals,--." Here his sight and his attention is on the Lamb, and nothing else. Once the Lamb opened the seal, then John "heard" --as it were the noise (sound) of thunder one of the four living creatures saying, Go!" It was the loud voice of the living creature that caught John's attention as he turned to look, and when he did (v.2); "And I saw, and behold a white horse; and "he" (the living creature he heard giving the horse the command to "go") that sat on him---, and he went forth---."
We see the same context in the opening of the first four seals. John's attention is on the Lamb opening the seals, (Rev. 6-1,3,5,7), then he "heard", each time a living creature saying Go! Being a command given to the horse to "go forth." There were 4 living creatures, and the context of the first 4 seals contained  4 horses in the way the context was given. We see in the remaining 3 seals that were to be opened, no longer any mention of the 4 living creatures or horses, for they had "gone forth" to fulfill the prophecy.
In these verses we see and meet up with the horses that were transported with the living creatures that were seen in Zech. 6-2-3. And we are told what they represent in verse 5. "These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing (from their station) before the Lord of all the earth.' It was noted that the wheels, the living creatures, the chariots, the horses all represent what is told us here in Zech. 6-5. Ezekiel was the last prophet to see the living creatures leave the earth after the glory of the Lord had departed from the temple (Ezek. 10-18-19). Now just as they went forth from their station in Ezek. 10-19 and Zech. 6-5, they would again leave their station from standing before the throne of God (Rev. 4-6-8). In Rev. 6-1-8 is where we meet up with them again with the opening of the seals. In Rev. 4-6-8, John sees them in the presence of God's throne at "their station" and under his command. And when the judgement seals are opened and loosed, the living creatures would leave their station and go forth "from" the presence of God, as is seen in the seals. They were "cast out from the presence of God."
It is these same 4 living creatures who would represent and become the beast in its final form at the prophecy's fulfillment (Rev. 13-1-2 and 13-11-12). When the time of these final judgements would come to pass, the Great Stone (Dan. 2-34) smites the image upon the feet. "Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, and the gold broken to pieces together." This shows us it takes in the whole earth and all earthly power, and all world dominion in its final consummation, and not just the final form of the beast itself.
As was noted, after the first 4 seals have been opened, we do not hear of the living creatures anymore for they had gone forth. But we see their coming presence on the earth in Rev. 7-1-3. "Four angels---holding the four winds (4 living spirits-4 living creatures) of the earth---. (v.3) Saying, hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." The context of chapter 7, the 144,000 sealed, and the numberless multitude describe a foreview before the 7th seal is loosed to release the judgements (the prophecy) on the earth. Chapters 8 through 11-19 describes what occurs once the 7th seal is opened. Rev. 12-1-17 gives us a short history of Israel called the woman who would give birth to Christ, and through Christ would come the grafted in, the church, the body of Christ. Given with a short history of the dispersion of the Jews, and the persecution of the Jews and the church by the dragon. The context shows during that time, it is the dragon that persecutes the Jews and the church, not as much the beast that he would later use.
In Rev. 12-3, at that time in the prophecy, we see the dragon as having "seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads." We see here "no crowns" on the ten horns as yet, but the seven heads have been crowned. This is to indicate that the final 7th kingdom exists and he now has dominion over that kingdom. Therefore we see him, Satan here, having seven crowned heads or kingdoms in which he persecuted past and present, Israel and the church. This is seen in REv. 12-13, but knowing his time is now short (v.12); "The dragon was wroth (enraged) with the woman (now Israel and the church) and went to make war with the remnant of her seed" (the rest of her offspring, those), which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Knowing his time is short, he gives the 7th and final kingdom his power, throne and great authority (Rev. 13-2). We read in 13-1-2, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast (therion) rise up out of the sea, having seven heads (representing all 7 kingdoms) and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns (representing ten crowned kings), and upon his heads the name of blasphemy" (a blasphemous name, the name of the beast, see Rev. 17-5). "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard---." This term "like a leopard" is given in Dan. 7-6, and speaks there of the 3rd beast, Greece, the kingdom of Alexander the Great. He is seen as the "rough goat" in Dan. 8-21. The term "leopard" represents "swiftness" like in the speed in which Alexander conquered. Thus the term given to this beast, it would be swift in conquering and dominating throughout the world.
"---and his feet were as (the feet) of a bear,---." This term "as the feet of a bear" brings us to Dan. 7-5, which speaks of the second beast, which was the kingdom of Medo-Persia. He is seen as the "ram" in Dan. 8-20. Although two kingdoms, it is seen as one, for Media allied itself with Persia, with Persia having dominance in the kingdom. Therefore this term given to the beast, it had "feet like a bear" (Medo-Persia) is to mean it "stood up" and came to be in a similar way. It was made up of two kingdoms, one political, one religious. "Media" here representing the religious kingdom allied with and within the beast. With "Persia" representing the political and dominant kingdom, the beast of the sea. This is seen in the description of the "beasts" seen there in chapter 13.
"---and his mouth as the mouth of a lion;---." This representation used here, "as the mouth of a lion" is not the representation given in Rev. 4-7. There, in its "early stages", its qualities were Christ-like, like as the lion of the tribe of Judah; where we see here it is a wild beast "therion." Here, his mouth "as the mouth of a lion" is to mean what we read in 1 Peter 5-8. "---your adversary the devil, (is) as a roaring lion, (and) walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." We see this in the following words of Rev. 13-2; "---and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat (throne), and great authority." He gave power to the beast who's mouth was as a lion, as the devil, to speak blasphemies. This is seen in Rev. 13-5-8; "And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies;---. (v.6) "And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle (his dwelling place, the body of Christ), and them that dwell in heaven. (v.7) And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and power (authority) was given him over all kindreds (tribes), and tongues, and nations." This is the makeup of the beast of the sea in its "final form" when the prophecy would come to pass.
Here we continue in Rev. 13-11-18, the beast (therion) of the earth. (v.11) "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth (the land); and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon." The coming up out of the earth/land indicates the residence from "where" he rose from, and resides in. In scripture "horns" represent power, authority, kings and kingdoms, depending on the context. Here it is to represent "kingdoms" having power and authority. As we see the first beast being a kingdom, so is this beast a kingdom, but of a different kind. We see this beast having two horns on his lamb-like body. To indicate his body functioned in and was a part of two kingdoms. He functioned in the religious kingdom being presented here, as well as in the political kingdom, that being the beast of the sea. And in these two kingdoms "he spake as a dragon." He spoke as a dragon in the political kingdom by the authority given him by the dragon (Rev. 13-2,12). And he spoke as a dragon in the religious kingdom "within" the political kingdom. For he, the beast of the earth, also had the power of the first beast. (v.12) "And he exerciseth all the power (authority) of the first beast before him (in his presence), and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."
The beast kingdom of the earth is in reality an "eighth kingdom," and religious in its being. We see this in Rev. 17-11; "And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth (kingdom), and is of the seven (within the 7th kingdom), and goeth into perdition" (destruction). Paul speaks of this coming "beast" in the singular, as does Revelation when speaking of the beast. 2 Thess. 2-3-4, "Let no man decieve you by any means; for (that day shall not come), except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin (Satan's beast-anti-christs) be revealed, the son of perdition" (destruction). The beast is called here "the son of destruction". Who is called "destruction?" Rev. 9-11 tells us who, "--they (the locusts) had a king over them (which is) the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon (lit. destruction), but in the Greek tongue hath (his) name Apollyon" (lit. destroyer). We see the beast here as being the "son" of destruction, who is seen here as being the "king angel" of the pit. He also has other names and they are seen in Rev. 12-9, "the dragon, serpent, Devil, Satan." Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple ("naos", sanctuary, tabernacle) of God (the body of Christ), showing himself that he is God." (v.9) "---whose coming (the beasts) is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders" (Rev. 13-4,12,13).
In Rev. 13-18 it is asked, "Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast; for it is man's (Greek "anthropos" meaning "mankind"-not "a man") number; and his number is six hundred threescore (and) six." And here it shall be noted again as to the identity of the beast. The "People"(mankind) 6--"United" 6--"States" 6. This gives us the name and number of the beast of the sea, 666. The number of the beast of the earth is also 666. The anti-christs, the apostasized within this kingdom. "People"(mankind-antichrists) 6--"Church" 6--"Christ" 6.
As was noted, concerning the mark the beast would force on many. This mark, stamp or sign is found on our U.S. currency in one "form" or another. It shows the mark, name, and number of the beast, and without it "no man could buy or sell." Rev. 13-1, "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy."
*Note; Here is the literal translation of the Greek in Rev. 17-18; "Kai (and) h (the) gunh (woman) hn (whom) eideo (thou sawest), estin (is) j (the) poliv h (city) megalh (great) j (which) ecousa (has a) "basileian" (kingdom--and not "which reigneth" as translated) epi (over) twn (the) basilewn (kings) thv (of the) gjhv (earth)."
So the translation is; "And the woman whom thou sawest is the city great, which has a kingdom (religious and political) over the kings of the earth."
By this verse we now can see who "Mystery Babylon" is. It is the beast of the sea, the 7th, the political beast kingdom. Which is also the beast of the earth, the 8th, the religious beast kingdom who rides upon the beast. To indicate she is "a part" of the beast kingdom's makeup. And this "Mystery Babylon Kingdom" is called the "woman" the "great city" which has "a kingdom"(greater than and) "over the kings of the earth."
